Patricia says, “The pattern used for this jacket was Know Me Patterns, ME2004. I chose the Inkwell Faux Leather from Sew Much Fabric. Modifications I incorporated included lengthening the front and back of the jacket bodice by three inches. Next, I created a second peplum pattern piece by widening the top peplum from four to eight inches. Following, I layered the two peplums and sewed them as one piece to the bodice of the jacket. Lastly, I sewed ribbed knit to the sleeves; I added brass grommets, a brass 24-inch separating zipper, and black cording to the top peplum layer giving the jacket a sporty look. This jacket's versatility looks great with jeans, leggings, and knee-high boots.” Thanks Patricia!
