Ronnie says “I used Vogue 1086, a dress pattern by Tracy Reese, and Black/White/Raspberry Daisy Viscose Crepe Print to make my dress. The fabric was washed and machine dried prior to cutting. I did make a muslin of the bodice to fine tune the fit. The pattern is designed for a much lighter fabric so some changes in the construction were required to compensate and reduce bulk in some areas. I love how the dress feels and flows and plan to get a lot of wear from it as we slowly transition from summer into autumn. I am calling this make my “fireworks dress”!”
