This green vest was quite challenging. The fabrics (Alden Olive Sanded Washed Cotton and Moss Rib Knit) were perfect for this look! But using an older Butterick Men’s vest pattern wasn’t originally the best choice. It had to be altered considerably and once cut-out and sized to fit Craig, the pattern/fabric needed to be downsized several sizes, cut shorter, removed the collar/lapel, and changed the arm hole to add a rib knit both there and to the bottom. Fortunately for all the time spent getting the right look, it turned out great!
