Yvette says “I used the No-Zip skirt pattern by Blue Dot Patterns for the skirt, a vintage (1985) Vogue 9454 for the hat, and a tutorial for the fringe bag. Sewing with the faux leather was a dream. I used pattern weights to lay the pattern pieces, universal 90/14 machine needle and 1/8-inch double sided basting tape so that the seams would lay flat when I topstitched. The top is another OPP pattern (1993) Simplicity 8674, with cotton fabric (Royal Blue Broad Brushstrokes -sold out), which matched the faux leather perfectly.” Thank you Yvette!
