Armida says, “My client loves bubble skirts! She wanted me to upcycle an old pair of jeans and add a bubble skirt in velvet to the upper half of the jeans. If you are not friends with velvet and fabrics with stretch, this was not too hard to work with, and it has a soft, nice drape. I fell in love with this velvet, it’s not dull nor shiny, just a touch of shine. I think it makes the color rich; it really is beautiful.
